New Launches from FashionistA, Blush, bronzer and shadows.........

FashionistA have recently added to there fantastic line of blushes and eye shadows. In addition to new merged shadows and blush, we also now have the added bonus of bronzers.

All of which fit into the custom palettes offered to us by FashionistA.

The bronzers come in both shimmer and matt formulations

Barcelona

Barcelona is a pretty creamy bronzer. There are no orange tones in this bronzer at all, it can also be used as a highlight, giving a lovely golden glow to the skin.

Paris

Paris is the perfect matt shade bronzer, ideal for contouring and adding that sunkissed look to the cheek bones and nose.

London

I make no secret of the fact that I am a blusher addict, and this blush has really grabbed me. It is a beautiful pinky coral with a hint of shimmer. I have worn this blush non stop since I received it. It look fab with a tan and gives fairer skins a lovely warmth.

Custom Fitted

This eye shadow reminds me of a more sparkly Sumptuous Olive from MAC.
The colours blend well to give a shimmery shadow that lasts all day on the eye lids. Warning tho, if you are not a glitter fan this may not be for you. Also, watch out for a little fall out.

Barcelona & Paris

Custom fitted & London

I for one am once again impressed with the latest offerings from FashionistA.
At just £4 for a blush, bronzer or eye shadow, they are fantastic quality for a brilliant price. I also love the way you can personalize your palettes.

FashionistA is available from Selected branches of Superdrug or On line...

Will you be picking up anything from FashionistA ( I already have my eye on the merged bronzer in Dubai!!!) lol.

Blush by Fashionista......................

Last month when I was in Brighton, I popped into Superdrug as the one in my town is a little smaller and doesn't have the fab range from FashionistA.
I have tried the eye shadows ( See my review her) and a couple of the glosses.
I wanted to get one of the custom palettes, this time for blush. It was the ideal time as the 3 for 2 offer was running.  I picked up 4 blushes and a red palette.

The four shade I got are

Glowing (No 11) Blushing Coral (No 5) Amber Glow(No 4) and Juicy Apricot(No 6)

I LOVE the shades I choose.
As Above

The colour pay off of these blushes is amazing for the price. They have a lovely texture, blend beautifully on the skin and all for the bargain price of £4.00.

I really don't think that at these excellent prices that you can go wrong.
Juicy Apricot has quickly become a firm favourite for me. When you have a personalised palette like these it is very hard to reach for other blushes.
I put together a palette that for me offers great versatility.

At the moment Superdrug are offering a four for £10 promotion on the blushes and shadows from FashionistA, both in store and on line.

What are your favourite blushes from FashionistA? I think I may have to put another of these beauties together :)

February Favourites.............

I didn't post a favourites at the end of January as there really wasn't any stand out products of the month for me.
I'm glad to say the February has been totally different, I have re found the love for some previous favourites as well as finding some new loves.

Its a real mixed bunch don't you think?

Makeup
L to R
NARS Galapagos Eye shadow This shadow is by far y favourite brown EVER!! A bold statement I know, but so very true. A holy grail product for me.
MAC Fix +  This is one of my rediscoveries this month, I have enjoyed using this over my finished makeup to give a long lasting finish. Its also fab for freshens up on the go.
MAC Studio Fix Fluid This is my only MAC foundation and I must admit, Ive never been that impressed, however this month for some reason, I'm totally loving it. This shade is NW35 and can be a little dark for me in the winter months so I do blend it down my neck. Its just worked brilliantly for me this month.
FashionistA LipGlaze in  Pretty In Pink. I did a full review of this gloss earlier in the month. I am really impressed with them and love the long lasting glossy finish.
MAC Paint Pot In Morning Frost  This is from the Glitter & Ice Christmas collection and is such a pretty Taupe shade. I have just grabbed this as it is super quick and easy and gives a lovely looking finish.
MAC Mineralise Skinfinish in Soft&Gentle The perfect champagne highlight for my dry winter skin.
Soap&Glory Lid Stuff Whats Nude For super quick and easy natural smoky eyes on those rushed mornings.
Soap&Glory Mighty Mouth Lipbalm I have really enjoyed this lip balm. Its a fantastic balm to have in your bag, no messy fingers or worrying about your fingers putting dirt into the balm. A fab product that is also a great lip gloss.
Marshmallow Blends Strawberry&Champagne Lip butter This has become my Lip Butter of choice when I'm at home. I use it religiously before bed and several times through out the day. Smells Divine and leaves my lips super soft and smooth.

Nails

OPI Sweetheart For me the perfect Nude shade, I love how this looks on my nails. It is opaque enough that you get colour pay off . Simply beautiful and perfect for my now short nails from the 3 recent breaks I have had.

Brushes

Real Techniques Buffing Brush I haven't had this very long but since I got it, it has become my brush of choice for both liquid foundation and my MAC MSF powder. I love the soft bristles and how gentle they feel on my skin. I will be doing a full review of my Real Technique Brushes in the next couple of weeks.
MAC 217 If I could only have one eye shadow brush, this would be it. I find the 217 super versatile, from packing on lid colour to defining my crease or putting in my highlight, this brush can do it all!!!!
Sigma E05 Liner Brush  This is the easiest liner brush in the world. I find it had to make a mistake with this brush, it feels secure and stable unlike some other liner brushes. Its also the favourite liner brush of YouTube Beauty Guru Michele1218. If you haven't already check out her channel, please do!!!

Hair

VO5 Miracle Concentrate I have raved over this stuff more than once and wont bore you with it, to see more I have a full post here.
Wella Enrich Bouncy Foam I have been using this light weight non sticky foam in my hair before rough drying with a hair dryer. I find that it gives my hair a slept in look and some great volume without any reside or stickiness. My hair has a slight kink but usually if I use a hair dryer it will dry straight. I am enjoying using this as I am trying to cut down on the heat I use on my hair and this gives my hair a great look with no heat. Its a win win for me.
Wella Enrich Moisturising Treatment I have also done a full post on this gorgeous treatment. You can find the post here.

Face and Body Skincare

St Tropez Everyday Moisturiser for Face This is one of the best self tanning products that I have ever used on my face. It doesn't break me out, turn me orange or wear horridly. What you get is a beautiful sun kissed glow that you can build up or use less frequently. I loved this all last spring and summer and I have the feeling, I'm going to love it all this year too!!!
Soap&Glory Righteous Butter This has been my go to body moisturiser since I discovered it. It si by far one of the best body butters around, it leaves my skin soft without feeling heavy or weighed down like some others can. It has the beautiful signature Soap&Glory Pink scent. Loveeeee it!!!

I know this has been a long post, thank you for sticking with it!!

What have you been loving this February?

FashionistLip Glaze, for the Perfect Valentines Pout.............

With Valentines day around the corner, most of us are looking for that perfect pout.
I was sent a couple of the FashionistA Plumping Lip Glazes to try out (Alas my Superdrug doesn't stock the range).
They promise to give you that perfect pout with a little extra fullness thanks to the added ingredient of MaxiLip.

The packaging is simply gorgeous and feels and looks far more expensive than the £5.00 price tag suggests.
I'm a sucker for nice packaging as you all know and these for me are fabulous.

The glosses have a tapered doe foot applicator that delivers a nice amount of gloss in a single application. The tapered end also gives great control and allows you to line the lip line well.
I love how these glosses have a good amount of pigmentation. I feel that they deliver the colour of a lipstick with the look of a gloss.

Pretty In Pink and Fashion Fuschia

The fragrance of the glazes reminds me of vanilla cupcakes and smells divine, they also have a sweet taste, a bonus in my opinion, who doesn't want to give sweet tasting kisses??

Pretty In Pink

Fashion Fuschia

The tingle factor that you get from these Glazes is just enough to let you know there is something going on without being uncomfortable or irritating. These lasted a good 1 1/2 -2 hours on my lips which for a lip gloss I think is good going.

The full range has 7 colours and as I said, I was sent these, I  for one tho  will be hunting down a couple more, there is a shade called Hollywood that has my name written all over it!!

I think FashionistA has done it again, a classy, beautiful quality product at a fantastic price.

Have you tried these out yet?
What did you think?

Magnetised Polish By FashonistA..........

I am a massive Polish addict, so when I saw the the new Saturdays Magnetised Polish by FashionistA in my local Superdrug, ( and on 3 for 2 may I add!!) I picked up two from the collection, Frankie's Silver and Rochelle's All Fired Up Red.

You have to purchase the special magnet ( £3.00 ) to use with these polishes, I think this is a fab idea, it means that you don't end up with lots of the magnets.

The polish is super easy to apply, this is how you do it according to FashionistA....

1.Shake the bottle to awaken the Magnetism.
2.Apply two coats of Magnetism Nail Lacquer – apply one coat to all nails first and allow to dry, then apply your second coat to each individual nail.
3.Hover magnetised nail magnet over the nail, whilst the second coat is wet. Hold for approximate 8 seconds until you get the desired effect.

That's it, super simple and faster than you would think!! Here is the effect that you can achieve....

I just love this effect!!!!

The polishes are £6.00 each from your local Superdrug or On line

Have you tried the Magnetic craze yet?? What do you think??

Fashionist Custom Palettes.............

Hey everyone!!! Hope you have all had a fab day!!

Today I am sharing with you a review on the FashionistA Custom Design Palette and some of the gorgeous eye shadows in the range that I received at TOWIB.
FashionistA is a new range available exclusively at Superdrug. One of the main items in the range is the fantastic custom Design Palettes. They come in 2 colours, black and red.
You can choose to have either blushes or eye shadows, or a mixture of both in your palettes.

The beauty is that you get to choose.

Here is my palette.

The eye shadows come in sturdy little black cases that would be fab to chop and change your shadows and blushes around.

I love, love, love the design on the cover of the palette, here the flash has highlighted the text. It just looks so sleek.

The shadows slot in easily and nice and securely into the palette.
The 4 shades I have are, top row left to right Golden Glow and Auburn Glow and bottom row left to Right Berry Brown and Brunette Bombshell.

From the word go Brunette Bombshell was a hit with me, it was love at first sight and when I swatched it I was even more besotted. Its a great colour and the pigmentation is fantastic.

With flash L To R
Golden Glow, Auburn Glow, Berry Brown and Brunette Bombshell.

Natural Light

You can see how great the pigmentation is with these shadows. They are fantastic quality and last fantastically on the eyes. They don't crease and the colour stays true all day.

The FashionistA is available from selected Superdrug stores or Online here.
At the moment they are on 3 for 2.
The shadows and blushes are £4.00 each and the custom Design Palettes are £5.00.
I think this is fantastic value as you really can mix and match to suit yourself and your life style. I think these palettes will be fab for holidays.

What do you think??
