Build Your Own Palette from Urban Decay................

Something that I am sure you will all of heard of recently is the new Build Your Own Palette system from Urban Decay. UD have also reformulated there already fab eye shadow collection.

The palette contains enough space for 6 shadows and comes complete with your first shadow and a flat shadow brush.

The style of the single shadow packaging is the same just in a new shiny pewter case. What is different is the way the colours come out of there individual cases and can be slotted into your custom palette.

You know what this means......
NO MORE DE POTTING!!!!!!!! Yyyyyyyaaaaaaayyyyyy. Lol.

As well as my palette I picked up one other shadow to add to it, the shade I chose is called Suspect.

Suspect

Walk of Shame and Suspect

As you can see in the swatch above, Walk Of Shame that comes in the palette is a nude matte shade that will be great for blending out and your brow bone. In the pan it looks very similar to the infamous Brulee from MAC.

The palette costs £14 the same as a single eyeshadow.
I got mine from my UD stand in Debenhams in Brighton ( The consultant was fab by the way!!!). You can pick this up from all god department stores and on line nationwide.

What colours do you think I should add next?????

Vegas Haul Part 1, Sephora, it had to be done?!?!?

While I was in Las Vegas, I of course did some shopping. I mostly stuck to things that we cant get here in the UK. I had been making a list of bits as I saw them so that I was able to check them out when I was there.

I took all the photos in my hotel with the packaging before we came home which is why they are different to my usual and no swatches.
I will review all the bits I get when I have had a chance to use them all for a while.

One of my first stops was of course Sephora.

This was what I got from my fist trip to Sephora.
Makeup Forever HD Foundation, I had to get this as it was for my wedding day.
Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush in Tipsy
Demolition 24/7 Urban Decay liner
Illamasque Lipstick in Over
Buxom Flirt Alert Kit
Sephora Eyeshadow
Sephora Powder blush in Pink Flush

I also picked up the famous Airbrush 55 Powder brush, and it certainly lives up to the hype.

I also got my Sephora Beauty Insider Birthday gift, Philosophy's Happy Birthday Beautiful bubble bath and a Fresh Sugar Kisses lip duo.

On the 2nd to last day I paid my 2nd trip to Sephora and got some other things....

Too Faced, Glamour to Go Palette
Daisy by Marc Jacobs roller ball
Tarte Amazonian Clay blush in Frisky
Makeup Forever Star Powder
Laura Mercier Baked eye shadow in Black Karat
Josie Maren Protect Daily Sun Protection SPF40+ with Argan Oil
Fairy Drops Scandal Queen Mascara
Sephora Ribbon Hair Ties
Sephora Ultra Vinyl Lip Pencil.

Eeeeek!

Its been 7 years since I was last in Sephora, and I really was a kid in a sweetshop.

I cant wait to show you and review these things for you. A few of them have already become favourites.

Have a fab day.

Urban Decay 15th Anniversary Purple & brown smokey look........

Lat week I was chatting on Twitter to the lovely Hollie-Louise AKA Beautydoll buzz looking for inspiration for a makeup look.
Hollie-Louise suggested purple or brown smokey, so I decided to combine the two and use my new

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation
Clinique Airbrush Concealer
NARS Laguna Bronzer
MAC MSF Natural in Medium Deep
MAC Blush in Pinch Me
MAC MSF In Northern Lights

Tiffany D inspired Makeup Look.........

As you all know, I'm a little bit of a makeup addict. I make no bones about it, I love all things beauty, always have and always will. I feed part of my addiction with the YouTube beauty Gurus. I have several favourites,
 TiffanyD being one of them.

Tiffany's most recent tutorial was done using a product that i recently reviewed (Click here to see review).
I'm talking about the Too Faced Glamour Dust. These are lil pots of loose pigment shadow blended with glitter. They are super pretty and I ADORE THEM!!!

Tiffany used different colours to me (Glampire) but this is the look I made from the inspiration.

What I used for the face....

BB cream ( as face primer)
Mac Studio Finish Foundation NW40
Mac Lustre Drops (mixed through as highlight) applied with ELF Stippling Brush
Garnier Eye Roll on in med ( under eye concealer)
Mac MSF Natural in med deep to set
Chanel Bronzer to contour
ELF Studio Blush in Candied Coral
ELF Blush in Glow ( As highlight)

For my eyes I used.....

Rimmel Brow pencil in Deep Brown
Shavata Clear Brow Gel
Mac Paint Poi In Vintage Selection ( As Eye shadow base up to just above socket line)
Too Faced Glamour Dust in Nude Beam (Mobile lid, pressed on with a flat brush)
Mac Satin Taupe Shadow ( Lower lash line and crease)
Mac Twinks Shadow ( Outer V for warmth and extra depth)
Mac Gleam Shadow ( Brow highlight)
Mac Paintpot in Blackout (For something a lil softer I used this as my liner for the Top lash line)
Bobbi Brown Gel liner in Caviar Ink ( Water Line)
Collection 2000 Volume sensation Mascara in black
ELF Dramatic Lash Kit ( Duo Adhesive used)

And this is the look I ended up with...

Its a shame you cant see how pretty and Glittery the shadow is in the photos...

Lips...

ELF Pencil In Natural Blush
Urban Decay Lipstick in Rush ( I had to depot this as i left it in a hot car :((( .)

I hope you like my little interpretation Of Tiffany's look...

Who are your fave YouTube Gurus???

Challenge of the Cream Highlighters........

Something I seem to of acquired a few of recently is cream highlighters. I noticed this as I was tidying my makeup draw a few weeks back. Along with there being a few, most of them seem to be a very similar colour.

I decided that I wanted to compare a few for you all and tell you my thoughts....
The 3 I'm going to compare are...

L To R
Innocence By Elf £1.50
Sin By Urban Decay £18.00
Pearl By MAC £13.50

The above swatches are unblended, below are blended out...

So as you can see from the swatches they are all very similar in colour. Where they all differ is the texture.

ELF- This is the most solid of the highlighters and needs a lil more work to apply. It is a multi stick tho so you can use it on lips, cheeks and eyes also. It smells AMAZING!! I bought this to use on my cupids bow and for that I like it, I wouldn't use it on the rest of my face tho because of the fragrance.

URBAN DECAY- This is in the shade SIN. the texture is super soft and creamy, it blends well and leaves a gorgeous sheen on the skin. Even tho it it the most expensive it is by far my fave cream highlighter, I love everything about this product.

MAC- This is Pearl Creme Colour Base, This was my first colour base from Mac, I had heard so much about it I had to give it a go. I hate to say this but I was left a little disappointed, I have found that on my skin (Norm/Combi) it slips right of my face. I'm also not a fan of the firm texture, I do like the colour and will use this but I don't think its something I personally would repurchase.

What are your favourite cream and liquid highlighters???

Urban Decay Rush.........

I was watch LisaLisaD1 on YouTube last week and she mentioned a Urban Decay lipstick called Rush...
When Lisa said the name, it rang a bell, I had a look and it was a lipstick I bought last year.
Lisa describes it as Juicy lips, hehe, so cute.
Its basically, your lips but better.

I'm so pleased Lisa mentioned this, its made me re find it and fall in love all over again :))
I can sometimes only use lippies once or twice and then forget them, so its a bargain to, kind of, lol.

Have a fab Friday eve!!!
