My Babies......................

If you follow me on Twitter  you will know that I recently got a new addition to my family. I am talking about 'My babies' who are my four little dogs.
I asked if any of you were interested in a post about them, and much to my joy a few of you said yes, so here we are.

Meet my Babies....

Let me introduce you to them all.

First up we have Harry, he was our first pup, My Nana bought him for my birthday :)
We got him at 6 weeks ( the place we got him from was a bit dodgy, I couldn't leave him there, so cute and tiny...) way to young, the lady told us he was 8 weeks, but the dates didn't work out, poor lil love.
Harry is a Bichon Frise cross Yorkshire terrier. He will be 4 on Jan 4th :))
I am not exaggerating when I say Harry is a mamma's boy. It will sound crazy to any one who doesn't have pets but we really do have a special bond. If he's poorly ( which unfortunately is quite often :((...) its me he comes to. Something happened that day we bought him home that gave us a bond and I'm so happy it did.
Harry
AKA Harribo, Chewbacca, H, Hazza

Next we got Charlotte. Charlotte was 8 weeks and had the most loving mum :))
My lil Princess is a long coat Chihuahua and every inch the Princess.
Charlotte is a proper lil girl, she hates the rain and really likes the sound of her own voice lol ( meaning that she is the barker of the bunch).
When you are stroking Charlotte, (which if she gets her way is continuous!!) and stop she will paw you to carry on. Its cute, apart from when its your foot, lol. I know I'm biased, but I do think she is the prettiest Chihuahua EVER hehehe.
Charlotte will be four in April.

Charlotte
AKA Charley Wharley, Princess, Madam, Mamma's Girl.

I would like you to meet Albert next. We got him about 5 weeks after Charlotte.
Albert is a smooth or Short coat Chihuahua. Both Albert and Charlotte were pure white when we got them. Albert was from a litter of 2, his sister was also a cutie.
Albert is the most chilled out pup you will EVER meet. He likes nothing more than cuddles and tummy tickles. He is a bit of a chunk so we have to be careful with his diet. Albert's favourite thing is watching TV, out of all our dogs he is the only one that sees animals on the screen, and when he does he runs up and barks. Its super cute and I love it :)
Albert's going to be 4 in May.

Albert
AKA Alby, Alby1, chunky Monkey.
As you can see Alby likes to help me blog!!! lol.

Now, four weeks ago today, we got our newest edition.
This was because Richard said that we were defiantly NOT getting another dog. lol.
Now I can honestly say that having 3 dogs is hard work sometimes. However having 4 is no different at all. If we had bigger dogs, Labs or Alsatians for example then I'm sure the difference would be huge, however my four lil babies are about the equivalent of one medium sized family dog.

So with that let me introduce Maisy....

Maisy is a four and a half year old Bichon Frise. The lady we re homed her from was unable to give Maisy the time she needed for family reasons. So far Maisy has been a total dream, she is loving, well behaved and fits in perfectly. We did take quite a risk getting her simply because our 3 others are such a tight little family, however lucky for us Maisy has slotted in perfectly and completes our little gang.
Maisy does the cutes wave, its called the Bichon Wave.

To see her in action, there is a video above.

I hope that I haven't bored you too much with this post, I hope that you have enjoyed finding out about 'My Babies'.

Let me know about your pets, Post a comment or link below for me :))

Have a fab day

Better late than never, November Favourites.................

Well here they are, better late than never, My November Favourites....
November was a month where I tended to grab the same things, tried and trusted favourites. That being said there were a couple of new products in the mix which stood out from the crowd.

Eyes
MAC Top Of The Posh Peacocky Collection Eye Shadow FOTD post HERE
MAC Paint Pot in Lets Skate ( Glitter & Ice Collection, FOTD as above link)
MUA Extreme Metallic Palette in Celebrity
Soap&Glory 'Whats Nude' Lid Stuff Palette, Review HERE
Chanel Fauve Eyeshadow, Full review HERE
As you can see there are a couple of new entries, the MUA palette being one of them. This is a new love of mine as I am loving the soft lilac shades along with the warm mauve. Its totally beautiful. I have a review of the palette along with 2 others from the range. They really are fab!!!
Lets Skate has quickly become my favourite Paint Pot, its the most beautiful delicate soft baby pink has has a beautiful shimmer with a touch of glitter. Perfect.
The Soap&Glory Palette is ideal for those days where I didn't have much time, its everything you need for the perfect neutral smokey eye.
L to R
Top Of The Posh, Lets Skate and Fauve.

Face
The Balm Frat Boy Blush
MAC Mineralise Skin Finish in Soft & Gentle.
I have been loving this natural pink Matt blush, goes perfectly with either pink or taupe shade eyes and has been my go to blush this month.
I have loved layering this with Soft&Gentle by MAC for a soft glow to the cheek area, this is also a beautiful soft highlighter.

Frat Boy and Soft&Gentle

Lips
L To R
Carmex Lip Balm
Vaseline Creme Brulee Lip Therapy
NARS lip gloss in 'Turkish Delight'
MAC lipstick in 'Angel'
Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in 'Sky Line Pink'
New CiD Lipstick in 'Damson'
MAC lip liner in 'Magenta'

As you can see this month has been all about the Pinks for me, gone are my usual favourite corals in favour of soft milky soft pink hues.
I have been using the Vaseline and Carmex religiously throughout this month as my lips have been feeling a little dry and tight, these both give me soft comfortable lips and keep them nourished through the colder weather.
I have been layering Turkish Delight over either my lip balm or Angel. Its the ultimate milky pink gloss. I love the way it softens Angel.
One of my new discoveries of the month is New CiD Lipstick. I received this one in the shade Damson in my Carmine Box. I'm totally hooked. It comes with a handy mirror on the side of the lid and also has inbuilt lights for those darker moments helping you freshen up when ever where ever.
Love, Love, Love it :))
Magenta Liner by MAC looks scary when you swatch it but I have loved blending this over my lips before wearing with Angel or Sky Line Pink. It gives a bit of punch and yet is still soft.
L To R
Magenta, Turkish Delight, Angel, Sky Line Pink and Damson.

Hair Care
Batiste Blush
Umberto Gianni Backcomb In A Bottle
VO5 Miracle Concentrate
I rediscovered my love of Batiste Dry Shampoo this month. The new large size was on offer, Half price, how could I say no???
Backcomb in a bottle by Umberto Gianni is just AMAZING!!! Enough said, to see why I love it check out my review HERE
The VO5 Concentrate is something I very recently discovered, I have a full review coming up so I'm not going to say too much more.

Nails
And last but not least, my Nail favourite is China Glaze polish in Ring In The Red. Its a beautiful red with glitter all through. It looks like Dorothy's Red Slippers when you have it on, totally gorgeous.
And that's it. Sorry This is such a long post, hehe. Hope you have enjoyed it tho.
Id love to know what you think of my favourites and what you have been loving this month.

My Brighten up Monday NOTD feat Essies Pink Parka...............

Now I don't know about you but these grey days are beginning to dampen my festive spirit. Because of this I have decided that I am going to do a Brighten Up Monday NOTD, I might start this as a weekly NOTD post, what do you all think??

Well enough of that, here is my first Brighten Up Monday Mani.....
And its certainly BRIGHT!!! lol.
Its Essie's Pink Parka.

I hope this has brightened up your Monday as much as it has mine. Pink Parka dries to a Matt finish but as you know I'm not a massive Matt fan and so used my usual top coat for a high shine finish.
This is with 3 coats to give a nice even finish as I find that you do get a little streaking with this polish. I do think its worth the effort tho.
This is one of my favourite polishes, admittedly one that I normally save for sunnier days but It has definitely made me smile on this grey day!

Happy Monday....
Post me your links if you fancy joining me with Brighten Up Mondays NOTD posts.

Do you like the idea??

MUA Mosaic Powders.............

At Last!!!! I finally have got my hands on the Mosaic powders from MUA Pro. These are something that I have wanted to try since the range was launched. My Superdrug has just installed a Self selection stand holding the whole MUA Pro range. I was soooo excited when I saw it, a little sad I know, but I'm sure that all you beauty junkies out there understand, lol.

So here are my pretties in all there glory.....

The Mosaic Powders consist of one blush and 2 bronzers.
Here is what I picked up.

Blush in English Rose

A soft shimmery Rose Pink.

Natural Glow Bronzer

A tan toned bronze with a hint of shimmer.

Sunkissed Glow Bronzer

A warn rosey bronze, fab as a contour and blush.
L To R
English Rose, Natural Glow and Sunkissed Glow.

The powders have a lovely texture and blend really well. I have found in the few times I have worn them that they also wear very well with no fading.

The powders cost £2.50 each and I'm my opinion are well worth the reasonable price tag and would fit very well into any ones makeup collection.

I will be doing some FOTD posts soon and will make sure I include these in them so you can have a better look see :))

Gorgeous stocking filler.........................

So Christmas is coming ( shocker, right? lol) and I thought I would share this lil gem with you as I think it would make a fab stocking filler.

Its the Vaseline Lip Therapy Tin.
Richard was a cutie and bought this home for me from Asda after he had seen me eyeing it up the day before. It was £6.00 and part of there Christmas 2 for £8.00 promotion.
I was mostly hooked by the large Vaseline Tin, I just thought it was soooo cute.

Here is what you get inside the tin...

Four of the Vaseline Lip Therapy range, Original, Rose, Cocoa Butter and Aloe Vera.

I think this is just such a great idea. I don't know about you but I have lip balms or Vaseline in every handbag and pure I own, lol.

Just a quick post!!

Enjoy your day :))

Soap&Glory do cosmetics at last, Yayyyyyy ............

Sorry I have been MIA of late, Work is now crazy busy with the Christmas rush and I have just been snowed under (excuse the pun lol).
Ive tried to be super organised today and scheduled some posts for the week ahead.

So here we are, on with the post.....

Unless you have been living under a rock of late, I'm sure you will be well aware that Soap&Glory are now making cosmetics.

I for one as a die hard Soap&Glory fan am very excited. About four weeks ago, I picked up a couple of bits from the range. I chose one of the the Lid Stuff eye palettes and Marvel Lips duo lip pencil.

First up the eye palette.
I picked Whats Nude. I love a good nude and felt that this was a good addition to my collection as it contains 3 Matt shades and just one shimmer shade.
They promise 8 hour wear with no creasing, fading or creasing.

L To R
Vanilla (Matt), Pink T (Matt), Mudhoney (Matt) and Aubersheen (shimmer)
The shadows have a beautiful soft texture and blend beautifully. I have worn these on several occasions and really love them.
The palette costs £10.00 and is available from Boots Online or in store.

Next up we have Marvel Lips with promises to help super size your lips.
What is a bit different with this double ended pencil is that it uses a light reflective highlighter to add depth to your lips. I have found that the berry shade adds a lovely colour to the lips and gives a good base to work from. I have used the shimmer shade along my cupids bow and in the middle of my top and bottom lip.

I do think that some may find this pencil a little gimmicky, but I really love it. Its super quick and easy for freshen ups throughout the day. It gives my lips the perfect bitten appearance. I find that it works really well with a fair few of my favourite lipsticks.
It cost £8.00 and again can be found at selected branches of Boots or Online.

So what do you think of the Soap&Glory cosmetics? Have you tried any of the range?? Is there anything you think I'm missing out on that I need to try??

Have a fab day!!!

NOTD Feat Elf Purple Dream.......

What better way to brighten up my Saturday than with this NOTD using this gorgeous bright Purple polish from ELF.

This is Purple Dream by ELF and I bought this all the way back when they had there 50% sales going on. Well I thought I would give this a go for the weekend. I'm so GLAD I did, i think the colour is GORGEOUS!!! Like all the ELF polishes that I have tried this applies beautifully, I did need 3 coats as my visible nail line was still a bit to visible for my liking. It dries quickly and I find that these polishes hardly chip.
This first photo was taken with a flash, this shows the colour at its best and also the great shine they have.
Thank you ELF for helping to brighten up my weekend!!!

Have a great Saturday!!!!
