Barry M Bumble Bee inspired NOTD................

Happy Thursday everyone!! Hope your all having a good week and looking forward to the long Jubilee weekend :)
For my NOTD I decided to do something a bit cuter than I would normally go for....
A Bumble Bee Inspired duo.

Taken in Natural Sunlight

Black Multi Glitter and Yellow

I really like this new black polish from Barry M. It has rainbow mini glitter running through and is very nearly opaque in just one coat. I am looking forward to using it again.
The yellow applied nicely, not streaky at all which is always good.

In all honesty tho, I'm not that keen on this against my skin tone.

What polish are you loving at the moment??

Orly Melt Your Popsicle NOTD, A Neontastic smile in a bottle ..............

Another day, another nail......

As the Sun is still shining ( long may it last) I decided that today was the day for another Neon, Today's post is on Orly's Melt Your Popsicle, a beautiful neon orange.

I love how bright this polish is, I cant help but smile when I look at it, lol.

I used 3 coats for a full opaque finish. It applied really nicely, I really like the size of the brushes on these mini bottles of Orly. They make it super easy to get a good finish. I some times struggle with other minis (OPI especially). I used my usual glossy top coat to finish.

What do you think of this colour???

OPI Gargantuan Green Grape NOTD.............

Today's NOTD is a polish I picked up last year. Its OPI's Gargantuan Green Grape.
A pretty muted minty green cream polish.

I LOVE this colour soooo much. I think its a gorgeous shade and would suit most skin tones. What I HATE about this polish tho is that its a complete pain in the bum to apply. These pictures are with 4 coats. Its a very watery consistency for a cream and was quite streaky to apply.
I do love it, but I'm not sure if I love it enough for the effort it took to apply.

I don't mind a polish being streaky, I don't mind persevering for the perfect finish ( AKA my fave polish Fiji) but as strange as it sounds, with this I'm just not sure Ill be bothered.

Is it just my bottle???

What do you think??

NARS Haul.....................

A brand that I love to see is NARS. I have a couple of NARS bits and bobs in my collection (1 bronzer, 2 blushes, 3 shadows, 3 glosses lol). NARS is also a brand that will feature in my wish lists.

I often see items that I think look gorgeous on various blogs and youtube videos. I don't have a NARS counter near me, so its a brand that I always seem to lust after.

I recently decided to take a bit of a gamble and pick up a few bits from ASOS as I had a voucher and a free delivery code.

My main purchase was the NARS Love Rite SS 2012 collection. A box set housing a Duo blush, 2 Lip glosses and a Orgasm Illuminator.

I wanted to try this out as you get 2 blushes in the compact, they are a good size and it allows me to try out 2 shades....bonus. You also get 2 miniature, about half size I would say of there Lip glosses in the colours Greek Holiday and Turkish Delight ( One of my all time favourites!!!)
The last thing you get is a 15ml Orgasm Illuminator. I already have this product, but its something I always use so it will come in handy through the summer.

Desire and Amour

These are both Matte blushes, they have fab colour pay off like all NARS blushes. I cant wait to try these out.

Greek Holiday is the only new item from this trio to me. I really like it. It has very delicate sparkle and will look great both on its own and layered over lipstick.

Desire, Amour, Greek Holiday and Turkish Delight.

Next I picked up a couple of Lip products.
Mexican Rose is a Item I have had my eye on for a little while. I love lip products in pencil form and it is a beautiful colour.
Barbarella was a complete impulse buy. Its a true peach lipstick, something I always seem to be looking for?!

Barbarella and Mexican Rose

Mexican Rose has stolen my heart already, I have this on my lips as I type and I'm loving it......

The last 2 items I picked up are both blushes.
The first is a item that I have been lusting after for well over a year.
Its Cactus Flower Cream Blush. The reason I have hesitated so long with this is simply my love hate relationship with cream blush. I love the idea and most often the colours, I just really struggle to apply this well to my skin without it highlighting all my pores and just looking rather naff.
I finally took the plunge tho and I'm looking forward to experimenting with it.
The last blush I picked is Torrid, a beautiful Coral with gold shimmer running through. Gorgeous for summer.

Cactus Flower and Torrid.

I think that these blushes are going to work really well layered.........

I so hope Cactus flower works for me, I'm in love with the beautiful bright coral with gold sparkles. Fingers and toes crossed, lol.

If like me, you don't have a local NARS counter you can either order direct from NARS or ASOS like I did.

What are your favourite NARS products?? Do you have any Cream blush application tips???

Urban Outfitters NOTD.......................

Hey everyone!!
Hope that you have all had a fab weekend so far. I wanted to share this gorgeous polish with you for my NOTD post. Its a beautiful peachy pink almost coral Neon from Urban Outfitters.

The above pictures were all taken in natural sunlight.

The shade is called Pom Pom and costs £6.00.
This is my only polish from Urban Outfitters and I must say that I'm pretty pleased.

It applied well, not streaky at all, two coats would of been OK but I did three for a perfect finish. I found that it dried nicely and was really smooth. I will say that it is perhaps a little bit thick, but this could just be me.
I really liked the fact that this doesn't dry to a matte finish when its dry, it had a nice gloss to it.

I adore this colour, as you all know, I'm all about the neon's this year.
My Urban Outfitters only had about a dozen colours and this was the only one that really grabbed me, is the range larger? Is it just my store that has a small polish collection??

Happy Sunday everyone!!!

New CiD Rio Bronzer, Love it!!!..................

I thought I would share with you my favourite and go to bronzer of the moment.
Its New CiD's Rio baked bronzer.

I have fallen in love with this bronzer all over again. I love the texture, the finish on the skin and the way the marbleised powder gives just the right amount of colour to my skin.
Whats gorgeous about this bronzer is that is has pinks, beige's, brown and golds all marbled through, this means that you don't get that dreaded 'Orange' look. It warms my skin so well and has little or no shimmer making it fab to use as a contour as well as an all over bronzer for a sun kissed glow.
It costs £22.00 and is available from www.newcidcosmetics.com

To see more about the bronzer and some other fab New CiD products you can have a look at my previous post HERE .

Happy Friday :))

Orly Skinny Dip NOTD.................

Its that time of the day again. Today's NOTD post is from Orly's Feel The Vibe Summer collection.
A bright neon turquoise blue, one word....
GORGEOUS!!!

Meet Skinny Dip

These photos are taken in natural sunlight to show the neon off at its best. Its a beautiful blue, perfect for summer days.
I think its going to look beautiful with white sandals and flip flops!!

I had to use 3 coats to get the finish above. The polish applied smooth, it looked a little streaky with just 2 coats but the third sorted that out for sure.
It dried quickly and not to a complete matte finish, I as usual tho, used a glossy top coat.

I really like this, I find that I have to be quite choosy with blues, this one I am lucky with and suits my skin tone I feel. Its going to look awesome with a tan!!! lol.

What do you think of this blue beauty?
Is it something you would wear??

Mwah, as always

MAC Hey, Sailor haul part 2...............

Hey everyone!! Hope you have all had a good Wednesday?!
The week is half way done, and to celebrate, I have the 2nd part of my MAC haul to share with you.

I have also linked my YouTube haul video at the bottom of this post, so have a look see if you would like to see more on my thoughts :))

The Hey, Sailor Collection has been one of my favourites MAC has done in a long time. As well as some fab colours, I love the packaging.

This is the Highlight powder of the collection, Crew.
I thought that the coloured stripes were a light over spray, but when I have swatched the powder I had look and have found that they go fairly deep. The over all colour is a very soft baby pink, very pretty.

I chose the darker blush of the two in the collection, Fleet Fast. A warm soft coral. Very pretty and one I will get alot of wear from this summer.

Crew & Fleet Fast in natural light

Next up the Lip products I picked up.

A pro Long wear lip liner in Shore Leave, this liner I adore, its super pretty and lasts brilliantly on the lips.

A re promote Lipglass in Orange Tempera, this is a stunning gloss. Its a creamy peachy pink, totally gorgeous.

Suntint Liquid Lipbalm in Au Rose and Abalone. These are 2 of the 3 from the collection limited edition lip balms. They both have a subtle tint and spf20, making them perfect to throw in your bag for the summer.

Orange Tempera, Shore Leave, Au Rose and Abalone.

Of the two Liquid Liptints, my absolute favourite is Au Rose, it has a gentle sparkle and is lovely with Shore Leave liner.

Did you pick anything up from the collection???

Mwah, as always
