We Wear Pink On Wednesdays, OPI Shorts Story, Crown me Already................

I managed to get enough light for a Pink Wednesday NOTD post today......
With a twist......

So I used a classic pink from OPI Shorts Story, I love the bright pink, its always a favourite of mine for toes in the warmer weather. And what better way to brighten up a grey damp winter day than with bubble gum pink nails. This polish applies beautifully and smooth and I find dries in average time. I was going to have a bling nail, however in the end I bit the bullet and used OPI's Crown Me Already as a sparkly top coat.

I have had several compliments about this combo today, and I love how cheerful it is.

A combination made in heaven, for pink wednesday...............

You all know I like to do a bling finger with my manicures, and usually its sparkly, today I wanted to try a bold contrast for my I wear Pink on Wednesdays NOTD.....

I used OPI Mod About You for the accent finger, 2 Coats .

OPI Lucern-tainly Look Marvelous 2 Coats

This full cover shimmer packed gun metal Grey polish is stunning, I have mentioned how much I am enjoying grey at the moment and this is no exception. The shimmer makes the colour which could look drab come to life. The polish applies gorgeously and dries quickly.
I love the punch of the Mod About You with it too.

What contrast manicures are you loving at the moment??

We were Pink on Wednesdays NOTD Feat OPI Excuse Moi.....

Happy Pink Wednesday everyone!!!!!!
For today's NOTD something pink and sparkly......

OPI Muppet's Collection, Excuse Moi.

Another polish from the gorgeous Muppet's Collection. I love this girlie pink sparkly polish. I found it was opaque with just two coats and had a lovely finish. I loved the application, so easy. I think so far this may be my favourite polish from the collection.
The glitter is very soft and subtle even tho its multi coloured, its not over powering at all.

A gorgeous Pink Wednesday me thinks...

What do you think??

We wear Pink on Wednesdays, To Hot Pink To Hold Em..........

Yours eyes do not deceive you, this is my Wednesday Mani........
Too Hot Pink To Hold Em.

As you can see and tell from the name, this is a HOT pink. However even in the bottle this Polish has more than a little of a red tone. When sheer the polish is pinker, however once you have 2 or 3 coats it takes on a definite red appearance.

What do you think of this colour?? I like it, but its not even a HOT pink to me.

We wear Pink on Wednesdays NOTD with a OPI Twist.........

I cant believe its Wednesday again already, I dont know where the time goes.......

Now this isnt an obvious choice for Pink Wednesday, but trust me all will become clear....

You can see the tiny micro glitter in the polish, its baby pink and soooo pretty. It makes what looks like a plain gray polish have a beautiful soft pink sheen.

What I used....
OPI Nail Envy Base Coat
OPI Steady As She Rose - 2 Coats
OPI Its Totally Fort Worth It - 1 Coat

As you can see I layered the pale gray over Steady As She Rose, this gave more of a pinky tone all round. I am totally in love with this combo, really pleased I tried it out. I love the micro glitter in Totally Fort Worth It, the polish is very sheer so I do think its one that I will layer as im not a fan of sheer polishes.

So happy Pink Wednesday, dont forget to follow the link on the left of my page for more fabulous Pink Wednesday manicures.

We Wear Pink On Wednesdays, NOTD Feat Revlon Starry Pink..........

And here we are at Wednesday again and that means Pink Nails....

OPI Nail Envy Base 1 Coat
Essie Fiji 1 Coat
Revlon Starry Pink 3 Coats
Out The Door Top Coat

I decided to give the Revlon Starry Pink that I got last week a go. After looking at more than a few swatches online, I decided to layer the Starry Pink over a solid colour to get a good opaque finish with no visible Nail line.

I just used one coat of Fiji ( my fave Essie Polish, EVER!!) and then used 3 layers of the Revlon. I love the result. Thar starry pinks is really pretty, the silver glitter coats the nail nicely and doesn't feel too bumpy with a top coat.
I am sooo pleased that I hunted this polish down, it was well worth the effort.

Have a fab Wednesday :))

We Wear Pink On wednesdays, Princesses Rule, Sweetheart.........

And so Wednesday is upon us again...............

For today NOTD I used OPI Sweetheart ( 2 Coats) and then Layered Princess Rule over. I love the end result. I have always steered away from princess as its a bit too sheer for my personal taste.

However layered over my holy grail fave natural shade Sweetheart, it is simply stunning, girlie, pretty, very feminine and slightly sparkly, all the things I love.

The top 2 pictures are in natural light and the 3rd with a flash to show you the beautiful shine on this polish combo.

Have a lovely day all :))

On Wednesdays, We Wear Pink, Go Go Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness month....................

Todays Pink Wednesday NOTD post is for a fantastic cause. Its Breast Cancer awareness month and this is China Glaze and Seche Vite's offering for a fantastic cause!!!

L To R
OPI Nail Envy Base - 1 Coat
China Glaze Go Go Pink - 3 Coats
Seche Vite Top Coat

I posted yesterday about this great duo. I decided that Pink Wednesday was the ideal time to try them out. I needed 3 coats of Go Go Pink to get this completely Opaque.
Its a pale milky pink that is very work appropriate.
I didn't have my old problem with the Seche, it dried perfectly and left my nails with a perfect gloss.

What do you think of Go Go Pink???
Happy Pink Wednesday, don't forget to follow the link on the left for more pink polishes.....

We Wear Pink On Wednesdays Feat Deborah Lippmann

For today's Pink Wednesday Post, I have taken inspiration from Miss Glamorazzi AKA Ingrid....

OPI Nail Envy Base - 2 Coats
Essie Lady Like - 1 Coat
Deborah Lippmann Some Enchanted Evening - 2 Coats

When I posted about my latest Deborah Lippmann additions, Carlyn mentioned that Ingrid had said that she liked to layer Some Enchanted Evening over Essie Ladylike. I already had Ladylike on its way and so for today's post I decided to give the look a go.

Ingrid is sooooo right, these colours look amazing together, I am totally in love with this combo.
I find that you don't need a top coat with the Deborah Lippmann glitters, they dry smooth and don't leave your nails feeling scratchy. They are one of the best Glitter polishes that Ive used.

So have a happy Pink Wednesday. Don't forget to follow the link on the left hand side of this post.
