Mac Glitter & Ice Haul.................

I'm sure you have all see the Christmas Collection from MAC  this year, 'Glitter & Ice'.

Its a stunning collection of Ice cool shades with some beautiful products.

As you are all aware I'm sure, I have been on a self inflicted Spending Ban, this has broken me tho, the mear uttering of those two little words "limited Edition" send me into a panicked frenzy. I have so far used 3 of my 6 allowed items, and although it is a bit of a cheat, I'm going to consider this MAC haul, a little blip.

At least this way I don't go out buying lots more, there is some crazy method in my madness. Anyway, enough waffling, here is what I bought.....





Beauty Powder in How Beautiful! £20.50

This is a gorgeous highlighter in a soft golden shade, totally beautiful, the name is perfect :)

Paint Pots in Lets Skate and Morning Frost £!4.00 

The Famous Paint Pots, and these do not disappoint.

Lets Skate is a beautiful powder pink with the softest shimmer of gold, totally gorgeous, and so pretty. Think this is my favourite Paint Pot ever!!!

Morning Frost is the ultimate Paint Pot for those of you who like neutrals and taupe's. Its a soft Taupe shade that is very soft and gentle, love it!!

Whirls&Twirls (Glaze) and Double Spin (Cream Sheen)

Two fab lip stick shades that m not going to try and explain, instead, I promise Lip Of The Days instead :))

How Beautiful! Lets Skate, Morning Frost, Whirls&Twirls and Double Spin.

As you can see from the swatches, they are all very soft and gentle shades. My picture really doesn't do them justice, it was how ever the best that I could do in this horrid winter light.

For today's NOTD something pink and sparkly......

OPI Muppet's Collection, Excuse Moi.

Another polish from the gorgeous Muppet's Collection. I love this girlie pink sparkly polish. I found it was opaque with just two coats and had a lovely finish. I loved the application, so easy. I think so far this may be my favourite polish from the collection.

The glitter is very soft and subtle even tho its multi coloured, its not over powering at all.

A gorgeous Pink Wednesday me thinks...

Magnetised Polish By FashonistA..........

I am a massive Polish addict, so when I saw the the new Saturdays Magnetised Polish by FashionistA in my local Superdrug, ( and on 3 for 2 may I add!!) I picked up two from the collection, Frankie's Silver and Rochelle's All Fired Up Red.

You have to purchase the special magnet ( £3.00 ) to use with these polishes, I think this is a fab idea, it means that you don't end up with lots of the magnets.

The polish is super easy to apply, this is how you do it according to FashionistA....

1.Shake the bottle to awaken the Magnetism.

2.Apply two coats of Magnetism Nail Lacquer – apply one coat to all nails first and allow to dry, then apply your second coat to each individual nail.

3.Hover magnetised nail magnet over the nail, whilst the second coat is wet. Hold for approximate 8 seconds until you get the desired effect.

That's it, super simple and faster than you would think!! Here is the effect that you can achieve....

I just love this effect!!!!

NOTD Feat OPI Warm And Fozzie...............

So how is your Monday going so far?? Today I want to share with you one of the polishes from the OPI Muppets Collection, Warm And Fozzie.

I'm very pleasantly surprised with this polish, of the four in the Minis, this was the one I felt the least excited about.

Having applied it I'm starting to love this subtle Duo chrome bronze brown shade with hints of gold and flashes of deep red. This is 3 coats, I found that it applied quite nicely, something I usually don't find with Duo chromes. There is also a slight sparkle to this polish. As I have worn it, it has grown on me more and more.

MUA Extreme Curl Mascara..............

So a little while ago, you know I won a fab prize on Twitter from MUA

Amongst the items I won was this......

MUA Extreme Curl Mascara.

I'm always on the hunt for fab mascaras, I have a few favourites both Drugstore and high end and am up to try all things new.

The Extreme Curl has a curved brush to encourage and help set your lashes into the perfect curl.

This is a medium wet mascara, I'm not a massive fan of super wet one as I find they always transfer on me. The texture for me is ideal as its nice and build able.

So on to the before and afters....

Now I am lucky in that I don't have super straight lashes and so you may find that for some of you the curl may be more or less. For me I feel that it gives my eyes a slightly more bright eyed look.

I have found that this mascara doesn't smudge or transfer giving me a dark under eye appearance and lasts very well throughout the day.

I have worn this mascara on those days when I have natural makeup on as it is brown black and looks nice and delicate.

I am a fan of this mascara and will buy it again, I may try it out in the black first tho.....

Sorry I have been MIA lately!!! We got a new dog on Tuesday, a Lil Bichon Frise Called Maisy and I have been busy getting the Lil Miss all settled in to her new home.

As you all know I have been stepping out of my comfort zone recently and trying new darker shades and Cara had mentioned this colour to me. And I am sooooo excited!! I LOVE IT!!! I can totally see why this Taupe Grey is so popular, its totally worth all the hype. Its opaque in 2 cots, applies fantastically with no smears or streaking and has a stunning shine. This really is one of my new faves!!! Thank you Cara!!!!
