It occurred to me that Shade 04 may be a dupe for my much loved Like Venus Dazzleglass by MAC.

As you can see in the tube they look very similar.

As you can see from the swatches tho, there is more of a difference than you would think.
Like Venus is much more of a sheer formula with more sparkle and slightly less colour.

Shade 04 is more milky and adds a tiny bit more colour to the lips.
They are both lovely and sparkly, but I think that Like Venus has the edge.
I love to layer Like Venus over lipstick, it adds a lovely shine to the lips.
Which of these do you like the best? Or are you like me, a fan of them both??

Ooo I prefer Like Venus due to it's pretty colour and payoff. I prefer lip glosses that have a lot more impacted colour than ones that have a subtle amount of colour
