L'Oreal Super Liner Gel Intenza...................

As you all know I am a dedicated lover of Gel Eye Liner, my favourites being MAC Black track and Estee Lauder Double Wear.

Here in the UK we have had a couple of Drugstore offerings from Maybelline, Sleek and NO7 to name a few. Now I have thought that they have all been mostly OK, but none of them have wowed me like my MAC and EL.
When I was in Superdrug last week I noticed that L'Oreal have now launched there own Gel Liner, so I took the plunge and picked one up.

The L'Oreal liner comes with a handy little brush in the box. Normally I'm not a fan of applicators that come with products, but in all honesty, I really like this brush. It has a handy little cap that also means that you can chuck it in your makeup bag with out having to worry that the bristles are going to get bent or that it will cover everything else in liner.

The texture of the gel is quite firm, not dry at all, don't get me wrong, its just not wet and messy at all which I love. I bought this last Friday and have worn it every day since and I I'm impressed.
It lasts fantastically both on my lash line and in my water line. The box says that the gel is waterproof and lasts up top 24 hours. I'm not sure about 24 hours but it really is long lasting, I had little or no smudging throughout the day.

I love how rich the colour is, this is the 01 Pure Black and it has a lovely pigment.

All in all I think that this is a great drug store Liner, and one that I will continue to use. I hope that L'Oreal launch this in other colours. Also being under £10.00 makes it a bit more affordable which is always good.

Have you tried this yet??

China Glaze Prismatic Full Spectrum NOTD...............

After sharing with you my new China Glaze polishes a few days ago, I have been dying to do a NOTD post for you.
Today its the chance of Full Spectrum.

Full Spectrum

This is the pink offering from the collection. I used 3 coats for these pictures and surprisingly it feels fairly smooth on my nails, not to gritty at all.

Sparkle ahoy.....

Now this polish is packed full of multi coloured glitter and does have a halo effect. It is however more obvious in the bottle than it is on the Nails.

I think this polish will look its best in the sunshine, it will really catch the light and look super pretty.

What are your thoughts on the Prismatic collection??

GOSH Light'N Shine Lipgloss................

I have been shopping my stash recently. In more recent months I have been loving lipstick, but of late I have been reaching for glosses to layer.
I recently rediscovered my 2 GOSH Light'N'Shine Lip Glazes.

Shade 01 and Shade 04

These glosses have a built in light in the lid and a small handy mirror on the side of the tube.
The glosses are super sparkly and are very pretty.
They have a brush applicator and spread evenly over the lips. They do have a fairly thick texture, meaning that they are fairly long lasting for a gloss.

Shade 01 and Shade 04

Shade 01

Shade 04

As you can see 01 is a sheer gloss with a delicate sparkle. I like that these glosses are not to glittery but still have a pretty shimmer and sparkle. Of the two glosses 04 is my favourite, its a pretty delicate pink that is slightly milky. It looks great both on its own and layered over lipstick.

Light'N'Shine Lip Glazes are available from Superdrug and cost £7.99

What do you think? Have you rediscovered any good products recently??

Revlon Lip Butter, latest addition..............

A couple of weeks ago I shared with you my first Revlon Lip Butter. I love the formula of these new lipsticks from Revlon and cannot wait for them to hit the UK shelves. In my excitement I ordered another to satisfy my addiction.

This is Red Velvet.

Red Velvet

This is a lovely apple red shade that in the swatch looks far more opaque than when its on the lips.
Its lovely and moisturising and has great staying power I have found.

Please Revlon, hurry up and get these fab Lip Butters into our stores!!!!
For my previous post on Lip Butters folllow the link.

Have you had the chance to try any of them yet? What shades are you loving?

Love Lemonade, Sparklicious Harry Bangles.............

Like alot of you I'm sure, I follow alot of the TOWIE cast on Twitter. Now whether you love or hate the show ( in my case love it!!) You have to admit that they are all making the most of their 5 minutes of fame and building careers for themselves.

When Harry Derbidge tweeted that he had his own jewellery line, I will admit I was more than a little sceptical.

Well I had to eat my words, what Harry has produced with Love Lemonade is a pretty range with a little bit of everything. And better yet, its all crystalized, how happy does this make me?!

I choose 2 bangles that I thought will be great for my Vegas trip ( 7 weeks, whoop, whoop!!)

These are the crystal Thin Bangles in Hot Pink and Silver.
The Hot Pink is more of a purple to me, a fab colour tho..

I think they look great layered and I definatley would like to get a couple more before my trip.

The sparkle they give off is beautiful.

Harry Job well done!!
If you like the bracelets and want to see what else Harry and Love Lemonade have on offer just follow the link to sparkle heaven.

My bracelets were £12.95 each, they are on offer at the moment, normally £15.00 each.

China Glaze Spring Release, Prismatic, my new additions.................

As a lover of all things sparkly and glittery, the new Spring 2012 release from China Glaze, is right up my street.

Let me introduce you to China Glaze, Prismatic Chroma Glitters....

Beautiful image don't you think? I fell in love with these polishes at first sight.
There are 6 polishes in the launch.
Polorized (silver base)
Liquid Crystal (blue base)
Prism (lilac base)
Full Spectrum (pink base)
Optical Illusion (green base)
Ray-Diant (gold base)

I think you will agree there really is something for everyone.

I was so excited when Radiant babe beauty emailed me with the news that the polishes were in stock....
I chose 3 from the collection, here is what I got...

Ray-Diant, Full Spectrum and Polorized

Soooo pretty, the bad light today doesn't show these gorgeous shades to there best and yet I still think that they look lovely :)

As you can see these are glitter packed polishes, I think that you will need 3 coats for a full opaque finish.
With the swatches I found that the polish dried quickly. I also think that one layer of top coat is all that will be needed to give the nails a nice smooth finish. The polish doesn't feel to gritty at all.

I cant wait to share some NOTD (Post here) posts with you to show these polishes off!!

Hope you all enjoying your weekend!!

My Essie Polish Collection..................

Last week I posted my Nail Polish Storage post. The lovely Christine asked if I would be able to share my Essie polishes with you.

Essie Polishes are probably my favourite brand. Its annoying as they are pretty hard to get hold of in the UK.
If you know any good UK stockists, please leave a comment at the end.

Lets start with greens and blues.

Mint Candy Apple, Borrowed & Blue, Lapis Of Luxury and Smooth Sailing

Neutrals

Lady Like, Chinchilly and Blanc

Baby pink and peach's

Fiji, Van D'go and Haute As Hello

Pinks & Glitters

Lux Effects A Cut Above, After Sex, Super Bossa Nova, Pink Parka, Mod Squad and Fiji( as above).

If you are a fan of pastels Essie certainly has a fantastic range to choose from. My favourite colour is Fiji. Its such a beautiful delicate baby pink. It can be a bit of a pain to apply, but in my opinion its well worth the hassle.

What are your favourite Essie shades?

We Wear Pink On Wednesdays, OPI Shorts Story, Crown me Already................

I managed to get enough light for a Pink Wednesday NOTD post today......
With a twist......

So I used a classic pink from OPI Shorts Story, I love the bright pink, its always a favourite of mine for toes in the warmer weather. And what better way to brighten up a grey damp winter day than with bubble gum pink nails. This polish applies beautifully and smooth and I find dries in average time. I was going to have a bling nail, however in the end I bit the bullet and used OPI's Crown Me Already as a sparkly top coat.

I have had several compliments about this combo today, and I love how cheerful it is.

Shorts Story

So do you wear Pink On Wednesdays? To see more Pink Manicures, don't forget to follow the link on the left of my page.

Happy Wednesday!!

A England, Lady of The Lake NOTD...................

A brand I have been hearing more and more about of late is the fabulous A England.
Having seen some beautiful posts featuring these polishes, I decided it was time for me to try some out....

Enter Lady Of The Lake.....

I chose Lady Of The Lake, a beautiful rich purple with a pretty rainbow halo effect.

You cannot see just how pretty the halo is as the lighting was so bad, these pictures were the best I could get after a good 20 minutes of huffing and puffing, lol.

The polish applied well and I only needed 2 coats which is always nice. It has a lovely glossy finish when dry to.

To see the full range of these lovely polishes go to a-england.co.uk, the polishes are £9.00 each and everything is free worldwide shipping which is totally fab!!!

Have you tried A England? What colours would you recommend??

Happy Friday :)
